The 5-stage vetting process
Every tool is evaluated independently. No vendor can buy their way past any stage.
Initial submission screen
Every vendor completes a structured submission form. We immediately filter out tools without a documented security policy, a live production deployment, and at least one verifiable enterprise customer. Roughly 60% of submissions are rejected here — before any human review begins.
Security & compliance audit
Our analyst team verifies each vendor's compliance certifications directly — SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, FedRAMP where applicable. We request certificates, check issue dates, and confirm scope covers the product being listed. Self-reported claims without documentation fail automatically.
ROI & evidence review
Marketing claims don't count. We require verifiable ROI evidence: published case studies with methodology, third-party analyst reports, or customer-verified outcome data. Tools with only vendor-authored testimonials or vague efficiency claims are rejected at this stage. We look for specific, measurable outcomes with named enterprise customers.
Technical & integration assessment
We evaluate enterprise readiness across four dimensions: SSO/SAML support, API availability and documentation quality, data residency options, and SLA guarantees. A tool that can't meet basic enterprise IT requirements — regardless of how well it performs otherwise — doesn't make the directory.
Editorial panel sign-off
Tools that pass stages 1–4 go to our editorial panel — enterprise practitioners who have personally evaluated AI tools in procurement, IT, and operations roles. They assess whether the tool genuinely belongs in the top tier of its category, or whether it simply cleared a technical bar. This final gate is the reason our listings have a reputation for quality, not just compliance.
What every listing includes
Every approved tool gets a structured profile — built for buyers, not marketers.
Security posture
Verified compliance certifications, data handling practices, and encryption standards — exactly what your security team will ask for.
ROI evidence
Verified case study data with specific outcomes, time-to-value benchmarks, and cost impact — not marketing copy.
Integration map
SSO support, API availability, native integrations with enterprise stacks (Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow, Microsoft 365, etc.).
Compliance tags
At-a-glance tags for SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001, FedRAMP — verified, not self-reported.
Pricing transparency
Enterprise contract ranges, minimum seat requirements, and whether pricing is publicly available or requires a sales call.
NexusGrade score
Our composite rating across security, ROI evidence, integration depth, and support quality — so you can compare within a category instantly.
